Installation of engineering systems

Installation of HVAC systems is one of the key stages in the implementation and arrangement of engineering systems. The company “Termal” offers experienced highly qualified specialists who will implement the project of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.

Installation of heating systems

The installation stages of different heating systems are very different from each other. Each has its own specifics and requirements.

For example, the installation of a system with an air-to-water heat pump as a heat source includes the installation of an outdoor unit in the location specified in the project, an indoor unit with buffer tanks and a piping assembly, installation of shut-off and control valves, an automation system with temperature sensors, installation of heating closers (fan coils or others), laying and insulation of routes, pressurization and sealing of pipelines.

This type of system can operate for air conditioning in the summer and supply hot water all year round.

Installation of ventilation systems

Installation of a ventilation system includes a range of works:

  • installation of equipment and its strapping
  • installation of silencers
  • laying of air duct networks
  • Insulation of air ducts or painting if necessary
  • output of intake and exhaust air ducts to the street
  • installation of control valves
  • hole drilling
  • installation of switchgear (grids, diffusers, anemostats) after finishing works; connection of equipment to the electrical network, installation of automation

When installing water heaters, additional work is carried out to assemble and install the heat supply unit and connect it to the heating network.

At the very end, commissioning is performed. Specialists launch and configure the system based on the parameters in the project, and then test it.

The entire work of the installation team is organized by the foreman. He also measures and calculates the required number of air ducts and fittings, predicts the time frame for completing the work, and makes decisions regarding changes that occurred during the installation process.

On average, it takes two weeks to manufacture air ducts. The equipment, if available, is installed first. In other cases, it is installed after delivery, during which other elements of the system are installed.

Installation of air conditioning systems

Installation of an air conditioning system consists of the following items:

  • installation of outdoor units using brackets on the building wall or on a frame on the roof or ground
  • installation of indoor units
  • laying routes from the outdoor to the indoor unit and drilling holes
  • pipe insulation
  • laying of drainage pipelines for condensate drainage
  • installation of drainage pumps and check valves if necessary
  • laying of the box with electrical cables
  • vacuuming (checking the tightness of freon lines using a vacuum pump) connecting equipment to the electrical network, installing automation
  • Refrigerant charge

Depending on the type of indoor unit, the installation of air ducts, control valves and distribution devices may be added.

Cost of installation of engineering systems

The time spent on installation and its price depend on the type of system and equipment, the scope of work and its complexity, the availability of high-altitude work, and time (night work is much more expensive). Additional work, such as dismantling the existing system, disassembling (dismantling/assembling) ceilings, is calculated separately.

After completion of all work, the Customer is provided with a list of documents:

  • Executive documentation, which includes existing schemes and system planning with changes already taken into account during installation
  • passport of the HVAC system
  • equipment operating instructions
  • certificates of completion
  • warranty for the entire system
  • certificates and licenses for equipment

Installation of ventilation and air conditioning systems requires special technical knowledge and skills. The durability and operation of the system as a whole depends on the quality of installation.
