- Client: Henkel
- Category: Factories and Plants
- Location: Vyshhorod
What was done
For the plant “Henkel” was conducted by the company’s specialists:
- installation of new ventilation units with recuperators and air curtains (saving up to 60% of energy resources);
- a set of solutions that reduce natural gas consumption by up to 60-70%;
- design and installation of high-efficiency ventilation systems with heat recovery of up to 93% for new laboratories.
Stages of work
1
Energy audit
We conducted an energy audit and found ways to reduce natural gas consumption quickly and at minimal cost.
2
Development of an energy saving project
To dry the sand, the company has designed a high-temperature heat exchanger-utilizer that can return up to 80% of the heat back to the process cycle. Thus, in 3-5 months, large savings on natural gas will pay for the implementation of such a project.
3
Installation of new supply and exhaust systems
New air handling units with heat exchangers and industrial air curtains were installed for the laboratory, which saved up to 93% of energy and significantly improved work comfort.
