HVAC system of the restaurant "Bootlegger"

What was done

The Bootlegger restaurant has a decentralized HVAC system – a heat pump from the well-known Haier brand.

Energy-efficient ventilation of the kitchen and restaurant hall was created with plate heat exchangers and Ruck fans. The intelligent automation system efficiently and accurately controls all indoor climatic characteristics. Separate ventilation and air conditioning systems were installed for the covered terrace.

The ventilation equipment is hidden in the terrace floor, and hot and fresh air is supplied through ventilation grilles installed on the floor. Roda polystyrene heat recovery units were used.

Stages of work

Energy audit work was completed, and solutions were found to reduce the power consumption of the HVAC system.

A draft design was made and a common concept was agreed upon.

An energy-efficient ventilation system with air heating and cooling function has been designed in the restaurant itself. Supply and exhaust ventilation and air heating for the terrace have been designed.

We prepared sites, installation openings, and mortgages for equipment and utilities. A supply and exhaust duct system with a sealed plate recuperator, a Ruck supply fan and a kitchen exhaust fan, as well as a complete set of freon evaporator and condenser, and a backup electric heater was installed.

A Haier heat pump was installed, which heats the supply air in winter and cools it in summer and supplies it to the restaurant hall. Air ducts are installed around the entire perimeter of the premises. This system is used as the main heating system.

A ventilation and air heating system was installed. Roda supply and exhaust units with polystyrene recuperators and additional electric heaters were chosen as equipment.

The supply air ducts are laid under the terrace floor, as well as part of the equipment, and the grilles are installed directly into the floor. The exhaust ducts are attached to the ceiling and painted along with the grilles.

All commissioning works have been completed: connection, testing, diagnostics, adjustment and debugging of systems, preparation for commissioning. Acts of completion have been signed.

Regular maintenance of the installed systems is carried out.
