What was done
The 3-storey office center Formula, located at Velyka Okruzhna 2, Kyiv, has a decentralized HVAC system – a heat pump from the well-known Toshiba brand.
Ventilation system, heating and air conditioning is located on the roof and on the rear facade of the Formula building. Each floor has an outdoor unit that works in conjunction with indoor ducted, wall-mounted and cassette units and is united by a single ventilation duct system. Each floor is also equipped with a RODA supply and exhaust system, which has a highly efficient polystyrene recuperator that allows you to save up to 80% of the heat.
What was realized:
- system design;
- supply of basic equipment;
- installation;
- commissioning of the HVAC system.
Stages of work
Engineering research
Our company thoroughly examined the facility. In the course of which we developed a concept of design solutions and calculated construction and installation works.
Dismantling works
The existing ventilation equipment, air ducts, components and air conditioners were dismantled, the workplace was cleaned and garbage was removed.
HVAC project
A design of a supply and exhaust ventilation system with heat recovery, air heating and air conditioning based on Toshiba multi-split systems was prepared.
Preparatory work
Preparatory work was carried out on punching holes, arranging a platform for equipment on the roof, marking and planning the placement of utilities, and installing embedded parts.
The first stage of installation work
Freon pipelines, air ducts, drainage pipes, and electrical wiring were installed. Exposed parts were painted in accordance with the design of the premises. Equipment supply was completed.
Installation
Supply and exhaust ventilation units with RODA plate polystyrene recuperators are installed on the roof of the building, which return up to 80% of the heat. A Toshiba multi-split system (air heat pump) was installed, which works for both heating and air conditioning. The mounting holes on the roof are insulated, sealed and hidden in a box.
Launching and debugging the system
Authorization and dispatching of the systems was carried out. The equipment was put into operation, diagnosed, adjusted and parameterized. Upon completion of all installation works, the executive documentation was prepared and the facility was put into operation.
