What was done

For the clinic of aesthetic surgery and laser cosmetology Esthetic Hills, located at 4 B M. Drahomyrova Street in Kyiv, was implemented by the company’s specialists:

  • drafting the main project;
  • supply of the necessary climate control equipment;
  • installation work;
  • commissioning of the HVAC system.

Stages of work

1

Pre-project research

Cost-effective and efficient equipment was selected. A conceptual scheme for the location of utilities was developed.

2

Design and installation solutions for ventilation systems

To comply with all microclimate standards and ensure a comfortable and favorable temperature and humidity regime, a supply and exhaust ventilation system with heating, cooling and additional air filtration functions, or the so-called monoblock central air conditioner, was selected.

A ducted assembly unit was designed for the clinic. This unit is equipped with a plate hermetic recuperator that returns up to 50% of the heat energy, an additional electric heater and a freon cooler.

The unit is noise-insulated and is located behind the false ceiling in the staff room. In the warm season, the air is cooled to the standard temperature using a Midea MOV compressor-condenser unit.

A quiet three-stage Ruck exhaust fan is installed separately for the bathrooms. To absorb noise and protect against condensation, the ventilation system air ducts are insulated with foil insulation. A HEPA filter is provided for operating rooms.

In most rooms, compact metal anemostats are used for air distribution, while in operating rooms, square diffusers with more precise flow control are used.

3

Design and installation solutions for air conditioning and heating systems

Air conditioning in the warm season is carried out using Leberg inverter split systems of the THOR series. A wall-mounted air conditioner is installed in each office. When placing them, all norms and rules were strictly taken into account to prevent cold air from hitting a person. This system is capable of operating on heating at temperatures down to -15 °C.

4

Automation and dispatching system

An individual automation system has been developed for supply and exhaust ventilation. Leberg air conditioners are equipped with remote control panels.

5

Launching and debugging the system

Commissioning works were carried out, and the executive documentation was prepared. The system was put into operation.
