What was done
In a private 1-storey house with an area of 180 m2 in the White Stone cottage town, a Panasonic T-CAP 12 kW heat pump and a boiler room with a DHW boiler, a buffer tank, and a 3-way valve are installed. This heat pump works as the main source of heat and hot water in the house. Panasonic Aquarea T-CAP KIT-WXC12H9E8 is guaranteed to work for heating down to -28 °C and below, and at -20 °C outside it produces a nominal heat output of 12 kW only thanks to the compressor.
A heat pump is much more economical (3-4 times more economical) than a gas boiler for heating a house and preparing water in a boiler for hot water supply. The prepared low-temperature coolant is fed from the buffer to the underfloor heating collectors. After some time, the Panasonic heat pump’s dependent automation regulates the temperature of the heat carrier depending on the outside air temperature, which significantly reduces heating bills.
For backup purposes, the heat pump has a 9 kW electric heater and the boiler has a 3 kW heating element. The house also has a wood-burning stove, which allows you to cozy up and safely wait out any bad weather without electricity.
Also, all Panasonic Aquarea heat pumps in the basic version (not an option) can work for air conditioning at home, supplying the system with coolant – cold water up to wasps.
