“IQ Energy is a unique program used in the development and installation of technical systems. It allows you to compensate up to 3000 euros.
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) participates in this program. It is of interest to people who have decided to install energy efficient appliances in their homes. The product catalog may contain different equipment.
In order to participate in this program, you need to follow these steps:
- Contact our employees and order a project in our company.
- Our company is implementing a project based on IQ Energy equipment. The certificate of conformity for the goods we will purchase must be downloaded or printed.
- Apply for a loan to purchase this equipment at a partner bank. You can use both a credit card and cash for the banking transaction, as it is more convenient for you.
- Open a credit account with the same bank. Compensation will be credited there (according to the program).
No funds will be paid out unless you have opened an account before the payout date. The account must be in euros – this is an important condition of the program.
On average, installation work is carried out within 4 months. If the time frame exceeds this period, you will unfortunately lose the opportunity to receive a grant.
A prerequisite for the program is to take “before” and “after” photos. The “before” photo should show the relative location of the wall on which the equipment is mounted in space, as well as, if possible, the location of other objects in the room.
So, the equipment is installed, what are the next steps?
- Register on the official website of the IQ Energy program and apply for cash compensation.
- At this stage, all submitted documents will be checked. Most often, verification is limited to this, but in 10% of cases, a group of engineers from IQ Energy itself is sent to check the quality and reliability of the installation of the relevant units.
- Then you can repay the loan in accordance with the agreement or ahead of schedule (as you wish).
Please note that you are not allowed to repay the loan before applying for the program. This is stipulated in the rules and will deprive you of the opportunity to receive compensation.
The disbursement usually takes place no later than 5 weeks after the verification of documents. The amount is credited to the bank account to which the loan was issued.
The mandatory criteria for projects from the IQ energy program are as follows:
- Only products from the IQ Energy product catalog can be used to implement the project. This is the main condition for disbursement. The borrower chooses a device from the catalog, then (necessarily!) confirms his choice by creating a Certificate of Conformity.
- Compliance with all existing rules presented by the legislation of Ukraine must be observed. The projects must meet the requirements in the field of energy saving, ecology, social protection, fire safety and health. The lender must provide all necessary records obtained from the competent authorities. In addition, all units must be properly installed and connected.
Which projects are not eligible for the program?
- Projects that do not comply with construction standards and regulations.
- Projects that do not use equipment from the IQ Energy catalog.
- Disconnection from centralized heating systems if a boiler system is installed.
Main terms of the IQ Energy cash payment program:
- The loan is granted for a period of 1 to 5 years, depending on the conditions of the bank you apply to.
- According to the program rules, you are not allowed to repay the loan before applying for a refund, but after verification of the documents, you can repay the full amount ahead of schedule.
- Three partner banks: OTP Bank, Raiffeisen Bank Aval, and UkrSibbank.
- The cash refund is 35% of the principal amount of the loan, on average about 3000 euros.
